The wonderful thing about yoga is that it benefits the mind and spirit as well as the body. Confidence, concentration, focus, awareness, attitude, discipline – all aspects of one's life receive a tremendous boost.

The path of Yoga most commonly followed is Hatha Yoga, the path of physical postures. It is an Art because it is practiced and it is a Science because its claims can be proven.

Yoga gently rejuvenates the body, the muscles are toned, circulation is stimulated and overall health is improved. By restoring the body, Yoga frees the mind from the negative feelings caused by the fast pace of modern life. It is a complete system for personal development, promoting total physical and spiritual well-being.

Hatha yoga is the science of body postures, called asanas. It is an ART because it is practised and it is a SCIENCE because its claims can be proven.

A fit and supple body can be developed through the practice of asanas. The asanas work on all the bodily systems, toning the muscles, stimulating the circulation and improving overall health.

The benefits are not merely physical: as the postures are mastered and techniques introduced for relaxation and breath control, yoga has the power to calm the mind, increase concentration and give the ability to cope with tension. It is a complete system for personal development, promoting total physical and spiritual well-being.
