For the record, He still hasn’t replied!!


DEAR LORD

Dear Lord, please hear my little prayer
I know you can hear from way up there!
You’re omnipotent, powerful, mighty and true
There’s nothing that you cannot do!

I try real hard to do things right.
I don’t complain or get uptight.
I’m happy and cheerful most of the time
- a regular little ray of sunshine!

But Lord, each month, it just gets worse.
There’s never cash inside my purse!
Each month I juggle debts around
And in the mail, my bills abound!

It’s just not fair!  I’ve always worked
And from hard work, I’ve never shirked.
I do two jobs and sometimes more
But still the wolf’s at my front door.

I’d be real nice, I promise you
And do good things you’d want me to
So Lord, I ask one thing for me:
Please let me win the Lottery!
